3D printing (FDM)
FDM (Fused Deposition Modeling) printing technology involves creating parts additively,
that is to say by deposition of melted filament which merges by adding layers on top of each other.
Materials and Filaments

There are several types of filaments available for 3D printing. ABS, PETG, PLA and TPU are the most common although there are several others. The filament is chosen according to the printed prototype and design criterias including the function of the part, temperature, flexibility, etc.
Of all these types of filaments, our favorite remains PLA and PLA+ which is available in all colors and in multiple tones. The filaments can vary between shiny, matte, rainbow, metallic, silk filaments, imitation wood, marble, with sparkles or glow in the dark...
Multicolor Printing
It is now possible to work with multiple colors on the same 3D print, the results are breathtaking! Current technology, however, creates a lot of filament loss, so it is recommended to print several parts simultaneously to limit material loss.
